Technology Day Camp 2014

August 12–14, 2014

Walter Library

Robotics camp

THE CENTER FOR DISTRIBUTED ROBOTICS AND THE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CENTER'S TECHNOLOGY DAY CAMP offers participants an introduction to the fields of engineering and computer science through presentations and hands-on activities in a university environment. In its 10th year, the camp has catered to hundreds of participants, focusing on students from low-income schools. Technology Day Camp is for 6–8th grade students, ages 11-13.

Each summer's camp is divided into several multi-day sessions, including a session open to the public. To enhance accessibility for all eager participants, the camp is offered free of charge, and breakfast and lunch are provided. Through our partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools, students from the participating MPS middle schools will also be provided transportation.

This year's camp features: a campus tour, demonstrations from a variety of research labs, hands-on activities in soldering and computer programming, and much more.

Details of Tech Camp 2014, including public session dates and registration info, are expected to be posted to this webpage mid-May.
