Workshop on Big Data + Storage Systems

Thursday, May 2, 2013
8:00 am–5:00 pm

402 Walter Library

Background: The Center for Research in Intelligent Storage (CRIS) is working to address many emerging storage systems R&D issues. One of the important subjects today is "Big Data." The majority of Big Data research proposals we see today are talking about visualization, analytics and the application side of big data. We believe it is important to bring big data together with the advancements of storage systems. Therefore, we are organizing a workshop on big data + data storage systems to identify current issues and future challenges. Who Should Attend IT Professionals and Managers Storage Administrators Big Data Application Users R&D Developers and Engineers Contact: Cory Devor, PhD Center for Research in Intelligent Storage Digital Technology Center 612-625-1716
