Jean-Marie Bertoncelli has been working for 3M Company since 1990 as System Engineer and is now responsible for the Predictive Analytics platform and for geospatial applications. Jean-Marie has a Bachelor of Science (1978) and a License in Computer Software Engineering (1982) with specialization compiler design and operational research from Paris University. Before joining 3M worked on projects in the areas of process control, computer assisted surgery, and automated warehousing. He also spent several years developing computer applications for the gambling industry in Monte Carlo (Monaco). Jean-Marie is an active member of the Twin Cities Predictive Analytics forum. His current development projects include: creating market basket analyses for e-business web presence, customer and product segmentation applications, geospatial business intelligence applications for mobile devices, sales territory management, skills gap analytics, and user interfaces for geographical-area-based data mining. He is also designing advanced touch screen user interfaces for web based applications.
