The most competitive retailers today are increasing response rates and revenues through the use of predictive models and other analytics to make relevant, personalized, precisely timed offers to customers. Analytics provide a concrete means of realizing the long-standing exhortation to "Know your customer." They enable retailers to treat customers differently, even individually, based on insights into their desires, preferences and future behavior. I will be covering the following topics in this seminar:

Founded in 1956, FICO introduced analytic solutions such as credit scoring that have made credit more widely available, not just in the United States but around the world. FICO pioneered the development and application of critical technologies behind decision management. These include predictive analytics, business rules management and optimization. We use these technologies to help businesses improve the precision, consistency and agility of their complex, high-volume decisions

 

Arthur Von Eschen is a Principle Consultant at FICO. He supports FICO's R&D and delivery organizations to help them develop and enhance their retail analytic capabilities. Arthur holds a PhD in Operations Research and has over 12 years of experience working with analytics for retailers like Best Buy, Gander Mountain, SuperValu and Target.
