SoCS (Social-Computational Systems) Workshops

June 9–11, 2011

Walter Library

Welcome to the website for the SoCS (Social-Computational Systems) Workshops! This collection of workshops, funded by the National Science Foundation, are being held to build the SoCS community and enhance research in the field. The broad, interdisciplinary nature of the SoCS is part of what makes it both exciting and potentially transformation, but it also means that many of us don't normally interact with each other. These workshops are designed to bring together SoCS researchers from social sciences and all areas of computer and information science and engineering. Schedule: SoCS Doctoral Symposium: Thursday, June 9, 2011: 9am–3pm SoCS PI Meeting and Community Workshop: Thursday, June 9, 2011 (3pm)–Saturday, June 11, 2011 (12:30 pm) Complete schedule
