ON FEBRUARY 20, THE DTC HOSTED the second Digital Technology Initiatives Forum in room 402 of the Walter Library Digital Technology Center. This event highlighted and provided progress reports on the nine projects that were funded through the Digital Technology Center's Digital Technology Initiative program in 2005–06 and also included select updates on the projects that were funded in 2004–05. The event featured poster presentations on each of the 2005–06 projects and a continental breakfast reception from 9 to 10 a.m., moderated panel discussions with the 2005–06 projects principal and co-principal investigators, and brief presentations on the status of the projects funded in 2004–05 by the projects investigators.

DTC Professer Tian He named 2018 ACM Fellow
Professor Tian He has been named a 2018 Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Fellow. He has been selected his contributions to wireless networks, sensing systems, and Internet of Things (IoT), areas in which he has made many influential and landmark contributions. More on Tian He.
