Download slides (pdf 121 KB) Judith Berman’s talk, “Comparative genomics techniques for analyzing distantly related yeasts,” presents a specific example of the insights to be gained by comparing the gene expression data of two organisms. In this talk, we present a more general discussion of issues related to comparative analysis. Although some of this discussion relates to the technique used in Dr. Berman’s work, we also propose additional approaches for comparative analysis.
