Download slides (pdf 70 KB) In the course of interdisciplinary research, here accomplished by teams of biologists, broadly defined, and by technologists, largely computer scientists, progress is impeded by the occurrence of both mis-communication and missed communication. These failures can be painful surprises. In this talk I will give examples of the kinds of failures and offer suggests on how to avoid them.
