The DTC sponsors and cosponsors seminars and symposia on all areas of
digital technology throughout the year. Seminars, which often are hosted
weekly at the DTC, are presentations on a specific topic by a scientist or
engineer from the University of Minnesota, other academic institutions,
government, or industry. Several times a year the DTC hosts its Science
and Technology Innovators Seminar Series which features nationally and
internationally known speaker making a presentation on a topic of broad
interest.
Symposia, workshops, and conferences sponsored by the DTC usually involve a
number of scientific presentations on a topic area in the digital
technologies. These events often take place over a number of days.
