The Digital Technology Center, which is a hub of innovation and excellence in digital technologies at the University of Minnesota, is hosting its second open house for industry on Friday, October 1. The open house will be an opportunity for representatives from industry with interests in the digital technologies — such as chief technology officers, engineering managers, lead scientists, and industry university liaison/relations personnel — to learn about recent developments and trends in a wide range of topics, and find out about the Digital Technology Center's activities. There will be presentations on:
- Distributed Robots
- Intelligent Storage Architectures
- Supercomputing
and technology demonstrations covering:
- Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
- Data Mining
- Digital Design Consortium (DDC)
- Intelligent Storage Consortium (DISC)
- Laboratory for Computational Science and Engineering
- Networking
- Usability Laboratory
- Wireless communications
In addition, participants will be able to meet DTC faculty, students, and staff and learn about opportunities for collaborations and other interactions.
