Network buildout and expansion costs are moderate
While there are plenty of usually undocumented, or poorly documented, claims
about the high costs of deploying broadband networks, they are mostly very
questionable. For an example of what appears a much more realistic estimate,
showing what an existing and successful British facilities-based ISP expects,

traffic growth stays in the range of 50% per year or so, there does not seem
to be any need for major increase in investment.
