Several firms collect and sell their own proprietary estimates of current traffic volumes and related measures as well as projections for the future. They are listed here without any endorsements, just for completeness, with as much information about their reports as is public.
- TeleGeography publishes a variety of reports. A mid-2007 report stated that "In the year to April 2007, carriers, anticipating future growth, deployed new international Internet capacity at a faster pace (68 percent) than average traffic levels rose (57 percent)."
