A phone and voice mail will be
provided to each office. Please note that in non-faculty offices the
password for the voice mail should remain the 5-digit phone
number.
Unless specifically requested by a faculty member, research offices and
laboratories will not have long distance capabilities. If long distance
is needed in these areas, a faculty member will need to make the request
and will also be responsible for the charges.
Personal long distance calls must be charged to a personal home telephone
number, a personal credit card, or a personal calling card. Charging
personal calls to a University telephone is a violation of University
policy and constitutes avoidance of state and federal taxes.
No non-University phones can be installed in the DTC building without
permission from the DTC.
