Gediminas Adomavicius is an assistant professor in the Department of Information/Decision Sciences. He received a B.S. in Mathematics from Vilnius University, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University.

Adomavicius’s current research interests include:

• Multidimensional recommender systems
• Real-time bidder support in combinatorial auctions
• Expert-driven validation of data mining results
• Techniques for customer modeling
• Personalization process and user acceptance of personalization technologies
