The DDC has enjoyed considerable success in collaborations with industry over the past two years. The following acknowledges the many relationships we have built.
Benjamin Moore |
Benjamin Moore joined as full DDC Affiliate in 2005 and again in 2006. They have been active with the DDC in exploration of color and surface finish visualization. |
Talor Building Systems |
Talor Building Systems is a St. Paul, MN based builder of modular housing components. Through Sponsored Research the DDC has created building information management and building design tools for their modular components. These tools have helped reduce Talor’s building design and costing time and expense. |
Johnson Center for VR |
Located on the Pine Tech Community College campus in Pine City, MN, the JCVR provides VR tools to industry with an emphasis on spray paint training systems. The DDC is helping them create more accurate visualizations of painted surfaces especially focusing on flaws such as orange peel, runs and underspray. |
NVIDIA Corporation |
NVIDIA Corporation generously provided the DDC with state of the art Quadro FX4500 graphics cards and g-sync daughter cards which enabled stereoscopic operation of the VR Window. |
